Marwan Dalloul

CEO – American Properties

Founded in early 1983, American Properties acquires, develops and manages properties across the US, Europe and the Middle East. American Properties is also a member of the 42nd Street Business Improvement District, the Times Square Alliance, and the Mayor’s Midtown Citizens Committee.

In 2011, API expanded its portfolio to include the franchising business by establishing a strategic partnership in West Africa and acquired master franchise agreements for Domino’s Pizza and Cold Stone. American Properties has offices in New York, Beirut, Dubai and Lagos. Mr. Dalloul received a Major in the Building Management Program from New York University. At NYU, he received honors and the Joseph Fater Award of Academic Excellence. He also received a Masters in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.

Fadi Nwilati

CEO – KAIZEN Asset Management

Kaizen Asset Management emerged as a competitive player within the UAE market, with an asset management portfolio valued at AED 15 billion for reputable clients such as Emaar, Majid Al Futtaim Group etc. Kaizen is also one of the first ISO certified real estate companies in the UAE and a corporate member of the U.S. Green Building Council.

The company thrived on its founder’s vast experience with over 12 years in real estate commercial and residential sectors which include development management, project management, and investment management.

Dr. Mahmoud El-Burai

Senior Advisor – Dubai Land Department

Dr. Mahmoud holds several international positions in the field of sustainability and cities planning. He is a global advisor to UN Cities Program since 2014, Vice President of International Real estate Federation, and sits on advisory committee of Affordable housing at World Economic Forum. Before that he served as Chairman of UN Global Compact UAE since 2015 and represented MENA region in its advisory board.
He also launched many SDGs driven initiatives such as youth ambassadors program ,Women empowerment
principles platform and SDGs pioneers. Recently Mahmoud established his Think Tank in Geneva under the name of Middle East Sustainable Development Institute to lobby stakeholders to action on SDGs in the Middle East. He serves as a senior advisor to Real estate Regulatory Agency of Dubai since 2018.
Dr. Mahmoud completed his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Dubai (AUD),Master’s in Real Estate from Singapore(NUS) , MBA in Finance, Master of Cities from London (LSE) and DBA from France(GEM).
